BECOME A MEMBER

  • We gather for worship at Mercy of Christ every sunday morning at 10:00 am. Our services include times of singing, prayer, and preaching from the Bible, along with an opportunity to connect with a warm and welcoming community.

  • These two classes serve as an opportunity for anyone to learn more about us – our history, vision, doctrine, core values, ministry philosophy, and structures. Attending the class doesn’t commit you to anything, but in order to become a covenant member of the church you must attend the full class.

  • After completing the two new members’ classes, we’ll ask you to fill out a membership application. This document will ask you a few questions relating to some basic beliefs, as well as your background so we can get to know you better.

  • Each new member applicant has the opportunity to meet with an elder and church leader. These interviews typically last about 30 minutes. This gives the leaders a chance to get to know incoming members and ask a few questions. It also gives you the chance to get to know at atleast two leaders and ask any additional questions you may have. The interviewing Elder will bring a recommendation to the council of Elders, who then make recommendations to the members of MCFC

  • At each of our quarterly Members Meetings we welcome new members into the MCFC family. Once new members are formally welcomed and affirmed for membership, we gather around them to pray over them and commission them for gospel ministry in the city.
